If we sign Bogut, guarantee they'll start calling the illegal screens more, he's going to Dallas anyways, I would knock on the Timberwolves door for Dieng and Rubio.
Looking at the league right now, we really need CAPELA to become a star....this season. He the only other player on this roster that has that kind of upside. If we could go into next offseason with a respectable show in the playoffs with Harden and Capela as established stars, we might have a chance to attract another star or two to compete with Golden State
Or Ekpe Udoh on the cheap. This a former 6th overall pick (GSW snagged him year after Curry) who won championship overseas and wants back in the NBA. Baylor used him like Vlade once upon a time. Nick name was the Nightmare because he blocked everything.
Pachulia just signed with the Warriors. Ezeli, Plumlee, Hill best remaining FAs. Lots of interest in Hill and Ezeli, Plumlee looks likely to renew with Bucks. Dedmon is also there and reportedly we are interested - haven't seen much of him to offer an opinion. Koufos, Monroe, Vucevic, Noel, Pekovic should all be available for trade. Only Koufos and Noel address our needs, and we probably can't put a competitive package for Noel. I guess Denver may be open to offers for one of Nurkic, Lavergne, but again price would be too high. Some have suggested Chandler, but he is no longer a playoff rotation player. That leaves us with only Koufos as a realistic target that would address our needs, with Dedmon as a dark horse. Hardly exciting...
Hibbert just signed with Charlotte, that leaves them out of the Ezeli chase. Who are his remaining suitors? Apparently Blazers are out too... Lakers must be kicking themselves, he would have made lots of sense there.
Just though that Boston would be an interesting Ezeli destination. They could roll out the best defensive lineup in the NBA: Ezeli/Horford/Crowder/Bradley/Smart
Meyers Leonard still out there. He's got the range and size, but is coming off shoulder surgery. He's restricted though and not much help defensively.
I liked him in the draft .... wouldn't mind picking him up , he can rebound , sets good screens and has some range for a big man. He cold be on the court with any of the Rockets bigs being that he can play some traditional PF in a two big lineup.
Capela doesn't have the talent to become a star, on the offensive end. He needs to get better on defense too.
