I'll repeat: What would have happened if all the owners refused to help GSW move Bogut's salary, could they have actually blocked the Durant signing?
Of course, this is all for fun, and silly "what ifs", but to continue...that would mean first that the contract can't be signed as agreed...we would have a delay in signing as a ground-swell of support comes forth for the owners to not help GSW. It would make for great TV If no one trades with GSW, and they can only rescind their cap holds and exceptions, how much could the owners make Durant give up vs going to Boston or staying at OKC. He might have picked Boston, instead.
Other teams had no issue with acquiring Bogut. But Bogut preferred Dallas, so they chose that option. I know Charlotte was in play, too.

If they coordinated the move, it would be collusion. If they didn't, then all the GMs should be fired for not trying to improve their teams when there is a virtually free Andrew Bogut out there - especially 2nd tier teams in the east who aren't affected much at all by what GSW does.
