It's looking like many of the attackers were upper-middle class and well educated. So much for the "poor and disadvantaged" narratives.

Certainly in the 21st century that holds true. However, the issue goes beyond simply religion which a lot folks can't wrap their heads around.

So what's YOUR solution? Still waiting for you to show me you aren't some bigoted idiot whose only function is a anti-Muslim news aggregator....

I read a lot and read that yesterday. So then you failed statistics.... since you keep trying to repeat something that doesn't prove what you think it does.

I think there is a problem with Islam in backwards regions and that Pew survey is surprising. But where I am skeptical is that these "important beliefs" are connected to groups like ISIL

The Catholic Church has completely changed many of its views. Having a sexual abuse problem wasn't related to Catholic views or beliefs by the way, they were a symptom of corruption and arrogance. No Catholic ever said it was ok to rape boys. So I am not sure what your point is.

Islam isn't one singular unit. No religion is. And yes, a religion is whatever its worshippers decide it to be. Religions evolve, they are not static.
