How do you brehs find time for all these series? I barely have time for one show. CF already takes 95% of my free time.
If i recall correctly, Ned arriving to ToJ happened after sacking of KL, so it's possible that kingsguard got word that Elias kids had been murdered and stayed to protect the new heir.
Can't wait for Danny to sacrifice herself for the greater good and let Jon stab her in the heart to create light bringer...
Well considering the Lost came out 12 years ago now. And True Detective was one season. I just don't know.
Yeah, it's very conceivable based on geography that Ned knew about the sacking before arriving in Dorne at the ToJ, since KL is between The Trident and Dorne. But isn't the point y'all were discussing that Rhaegar had to have known, too? Wasn't the point that Rhaegar had the kingsguard (and the best swordsman in Westeros -- Ser Arthur Dayne) guard Lyanna at the ToJ versus joining him in the Battle of the Trident, because his lone heir was there. So, Rhaegar had to have given that order prior to dying at Trident, thus prior to the sacking of KL, and the death of his wife and two sons. Wow. I could see that happening, but only after/if her dragons are killed, and she has nothing to rule over in a losing war to the Others and no more dragons to mother.
The way you explain it is mainly how I remember it.. this is how I always understood it: Rhaegar takes Lyanna to ToJ, alongside him are Arthur Dayne and Oswell Whent. Ned's father and brother are killed in KL by mad king, in retribution, Robert and company (Arryn, Tullies, Starks, Baratheon) rebel and win battle after battle. Rhaegar is ordered by his father to return to KL to gather an army but he leaves behind Arthur Dayne, Oswell Whent and Gerold Hightower. Rhaegar with his army eventually meets Robert's force at the Trident and here Robert kills Rhaegar. Robert is heavily wounded here. Ned continues the rebellion and marches to KL where he finds Jaime sitting on the iron throne having just killed the mad king. Elia and her kids are killed here by the Mountain. Other stuff happens here and eventually Robert is crowned. Ned and Robert argue about the fate of the royal families specially Rhaegar's kids, eventually Ned leaves pissed off and goes to Storm's End to deal with Tyrells who had Stannis under siege. After the Tyrells bend the knee, Ned heads for the ToJ in Dorne. Rebellion lasted about a year. Daenery's was conceived a few weeks before sacking of KL when mad king raped his own wife. Jon is ~8-9 months older than Danny so Rhaegar was at ToJ for at least first ~3 months of the rebellion.
since there are only two seasons left, the popular predictions are Spoiler Dany on the Iron Throne at the end of Season 7. The North and Jon allied with her. Cersei dead by the end of Season 7, likely at the hands of Jaime Wall comes down at the end of Season 7. Ice zombie invasion begins. Season 8 humans vs zombies battle.
This, and only this. Just go ahead and get it over with... soon! I think she will become power hungry, and end up being the villain. Thats just how GRRM rolls:
