A "superstar" who can't defend. Major acquisitions being a guard with bad knees, a big man who is always injured, and a backup 3&D wing who can't hit a 3. Wasted a 2nd round pick on an undersized PF. Foreign project center drafted at the back of the 1st round. And a coach who couldn't get it done with the Suns. These guys could never win a championship. I bet you they can't even win 73 games.
I don't think anyone has delusions of grandeur with the roster as currently constructed. But there's several months of the offseason left, and I think you'd be hard-pressed to argue that the roster isn't already much better than last season.
The roster is not much better than last season. It just fits what Pringles wants to do, which is shoot the ball and run up and down the court. I agree our offense will be better but our defense just got a lot worse, so I'd say we have a lot of work to do t make this roster unequivically better than last year.
if you're trolling, good troll 1. superstar can defend he only had one bad defensive season which was 2013-2014 2. injuries happen steph curry was injury prone at a time and got it together 3. we didn't draft any undersized PFs 4. we didn't have a 1st round pick 5. coaches never have a championship until they have one good troll
Beverly,Payton Harden,Gordon Ariza,Daniels, Dekker Anderson, Beasley, Montrell Dmo, Capela, Possible D-league players Onuaku,Kyle Wiltjer What do you add?
Brewer must be getting trade, with someone to bring in more talent. I think a trade is coming soon... to upgrade the big 3! I think a center coming or point guard.
For those that didn't get it, the op is talking about GS and our similarities. Superstar that can't defend is Curry Major acquisitions - Guard with bad knees is Livingston, Big man always injured is Bogut and backup 3&D who can't hit a 3 is Iguadala. Wasted 2nd round pick on undersized PF is Draymond Green (we didn't draft a PF this year). Foreign project center drafted at back of 1st round - Ezeli (we didn't have a first round pick). Coach who couldn't get it done with the Suns is Kerr. The 72 win reference is also about GS. He's making the point that many of the same complaints that we are hearing would have also been valid about GS a few years ago.
