My point is, we can't compare numbers from a 17 year old guy and a 21 year old guy. Yes, i think Bregman is going to be good with us, but Correa came an hit from day one and continues hitting. I would compare Bregman more with Reed or White, not Correa. I would only compare Correa in the minors with guys like Cabrera, ect.
Alex Bregman hit his 2nd homer in the PCL today. Also, Stephen Wrenn hit his 7th for Tri-City, Ryne Birk hit his first as a pro, and Daz Cameron homered as well.
Need to start the Bregman to LF watch... Would be an enticing option against left-handed pitching. Or they should play Marwin there more.

Why would the Jays be interested in our prospects when they are ahead of us in the wild card race? Joey Bats would look ok in LF though
Hector Perez is another interesting lower-level arm in this system. This was his 4th appearance and 2nd start of the season for Tri-City, and here's how his line will look after today: 2-0, 0.52 ERA, 18.1 IP, 8 H, ER, 7 BB, 20 K, 0.83 WHIP Spoiler <script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgets.sports-reference.com/wg.fcgi?css=1&site=br&url=%2Fregister%2Fplayer.cgi%3Fid%3Dperez-008hec&div=div_standard_pitching"></script>

It's not quite what I'd call easy power but he's making hard contact without completely squaring up the ball.
honestly Jays dont have anyone that would entice me to trade Martes. Joey Bats a FA I believe and 37. Encarnacion is a FA as well I believe.
Miguelangel Sierra hit his 4th home run for Greeneville. Sierra, who signed for $1 million in 2014, has exceeded his home run total from last season.
Garrett Stubbs promoted to Corpus to fill the Alfredo Gonzales void. He's an intriguing guy to follow from here into next season: drafted 8th rd last year, defensive wiz with OB skills and some speed. I'm disregarding his Lancaster splits for now.
Looking forward to seeing how Stubbs performs in AA. Seems like he and Jake Rogers are the team's best hopes for the next homegrown major league catcher.
