Why doesn't he just sign a 1 year deal with OKC to give it one last shot with Westbrook, and if doesn't work out both he and Russ bolt with an even higher cap next year?
He will sign a two-year contract with OKC that has a player option next summer. IMO, this is 95% certain.

The delta between KDs perception now and if he goes front runner to GSW will be crazy. When Bron did the easy path to the championship thing there was already some people who didn't like him.
James harden should still be in Durants ear trying to get him to come play in Houston I mean if it was my best friend hell it would be very easy to ignore what every one wants but I guess they are so close

This. Second meeting with current team either is a thank you/2-weeks notice meeting or it results in an announcement of re-signing. Why wait on announcing re-signing? Unless we see a tweet now, he's gone. Dwight did the same with the Lakers to join us.
