They also have Gordon, Green to play the PF, I actually think they could use a SF, their roster is pretty weird, over stacked with mediocre talent.

They have a fringe starting PG in Payton who needs a good backup, Beverley would be perfect for them, but for some reason they just signed Augustin to go with Watson and Nappier. Basically 3 third string players, none of which are good enough for to fill the role that Orlando needs which a great backup, just 13 million dollars and 2 roster spots wasted for them.

Then they traded for Meeks for no damn reason, signed Biyombo which forces Gordon and Green who they just signed to play SF, which I hate because it totally kills their spacing especially with Payton and Biyombo being on the court for extended periods of time. Just really out of whack.

I think a good win/win deal would be

Ariza, Beverley, Onuaku + 1st for Vucevic, Waston, Napier and Meeks.

    Payton / Beverley / Napier
    Fournier / Hezonja
    Ariza / Green / Marble
    Ibaka / Gordon
    Biyombo / Onuaku / Zimm

    Waston / Napier
    Harden / Gordon / KJ
    Brewer / Meeks / Dekker
    Anderson / Beasley / Harrell
    Vucevic / Capela

Evens out the Magics roster a LOT imo, Ariza adds much needed spacing, Ibaka can play backup C, then Green and Gordon can slide down to get more minutes at PF, which then opens more minutes for Hezonja to play SF as well, and they get a high quality backup PG in Beverley.

Gives Houston a core of Harden/Vucevic/Anderson. We would have total holes at the starting PG and SF positions but we can still add a couple of players though FA. We need talent more then anything right now and Vucevic brings that.

You can't pair Vucevic with a non-rim protecting PF, it just doesn't work unless you want no one protecting the rim. Ryan Anderson + Vucevic frontcourt would guarantee we're a .500 team.

But this is why Orlando went and got Ibaka.

    Les: Perfect

    No defense = big scores

    Big scores = entertainment

    Entertainment = more money

At this point it wouldn't surprise me to find out we fire our defensive staff

What about the Second Rounder we drafted.
    Exactly how 'RAW' is he?
Can we expect some minutes this season or is he a long term project

Chinanu Onuaku is his name. He is just 19 years old. I don't expect him to help the Rockets this coming season. Maybe in 2017-18.

Sounds bad, but Anderson is a lot of the things you hoped Dmo could become. RA doesn't have the post moves and he's not as big, but he's pretty much better or even with Dmo at everything else. Besides, where are you gonna find time for Montrezl and Beasley with Capela taking up significant minutes at the 5? He'd be an overpaid out of position back up center. Without any additions, I expect Montrezl to play some center this season until Nanu is ready. He's hard nosed enough.

DMo will play a lot of minutes at the 5 for the Rockets this coming season.

I hope the nets offered him a sheet . If they offeredtyler Johnson 50 mil and already signed a few free agents the offer for Dmo can't be that big , should be an easy match
