It's interesting how posters can discern so much from 'advance stats', while at the same time blame everything on the coach (JBB, etc.). So I guess only the Rockets' roster was brought down by the coach? Everyone else we just take all the stats as gospel? Sports fans in general seem just so damn ignorant all the time.
I don't see them making much different to be honest. Last year, the Rockets have some pretty good shooters and almost of them suck ass. Brewer, Jason Terry. The problem with Rockets this year is going to be rebounding and interior defense. They don't have Howard anymore. So I anticipate the Rockets getting worst if they don't solve that problem.
People have to understand with Harden we are better off with true shooters than a real center and crappy shooters This will work as long as they sfay healthy If they get injured, like history has shown, we are toast
it's not even my money and I'm pissed at these deals. Imagine how Lex feels. hopefully they can stay healthy for the important half of the season. let's not play them back to back games and no more than 7 minutes per quarter. also, recliners instead of chairs on the sidelines.
I sincerely hope we're starting him, and letting Harden play PG on offense. And on defense, well.....whatever.
If he stays healthy it's a great signing, but we've been through this story before with Yao/T-Mac. I don't trust the rockets medical staff whatsoever.
13.5 mil a season is a lot, but I guess relative to last year's cap, it's like paying him 8-9 mil. That's basically what we were shelling out for Brewer, and Gordon will be a much better option off the bench than him. So how much does that leave in cap space now? Will we be able to match a reasonable D-Mo deal and still go get another decent free agent(or 2) for 8 or 9 mil?
This post makes you seem Like an idiot... Brewer is not a shooter, the guy runs around the court really fast. And jet was 37 years old what youd expect... To say these acquisitions dont make a difference really makes it seem like most posters on this board dont understand basketball... Its quite simple, you need to put the ball inside the circular metal rim... Last year the Rockets had TWO guys that could shoot the ball without me cringing, Harden and Beasly. Now the Rockets have at least two more guys that can put the ball in the hole. Count your blessings young fella.
