Hinch needs to stop being robotic and going with Sipp for left on left match ups especially in close games. Sipp just can't be trusted in close games and he's not even good against lefties this year anyway. I knew when he went with Sipp it was very likely going to go bad. Can't win them all but loses like this afternoon are very frustrating and could have been avoided with better managing. Oh well.

Seems to be a number of posters that think the Astros should go 162-0 with 150 of those being shut outs. Team is playing great, Hinch is managing a team in the midst of a great in season turnaround and surprising 2015 playoff appearance.

Didn't a poster predict a Reed homer in the bullpen today?

    If we went 161-1

There are a couple of posters that would rip Hinch for the 1

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, crystal clear there, you'd think MLB would have the best angles and replays to go off of. Obviously a game changing call there.

Anyone else think it might be about time to give Feliz a shot at starting?

Just hard to sit anyone. While no one has been spectacular, no one has been bad. Keuchel has probably been the closest to someone to pull out, but it would take an awful lot to do that.

Also, unless someone is traded, Feliz is behind Feldman in the pecking order.

You might as well trade Keuchel now before people figure out that he's done. Insert Feliz.

That's an understatement, 20-1. At least we're keeping pace.

Definitely a lost opportunity today. Offense did their part to get to Sale. After they retook the lead he seemed pretty locked in until the 8th. I think part of Hinch's decision to leave Fister in to get out of the jam was Hinch having faith that his best pitcher this year, and a veteran, could make one more pitch to get the last out and preserve the lead. That didn't work out, but I'm ok with him giving Fister that chance. Now, taking Feliz out with 2 outs and 1 on after he was mowing batters down was the real head scratcher for me. Especially considering Sipp's recent struggles. All in all, take tomorrow's game and we're still in excellent shape to make this a great home stand. Oh, and nice to see AJ break that HR seal!

rough loss today. things were looking good and i thought things were turning around. it will probably be a great learning experience in the long run though, even though it may not be apparent to everybody now.

also, nice effort by the stros today.

I was just SMH when they showed the bullpen with sipp warming up and I was praying that Feliz would get the first 3 so Hinch wouldn't go lefty v lefty. Why pull a man with 7 Ks in 10 batters to throw a lefty out there that has lefties batting .298 against him? If he wants to regain faith in sipp, he needs to let him work out of his funk in games where there is a foregone conclusion where the Stros are either losing handily or either so far ahead even Sipp can' screw it up.
