Yesterday Giles and Gregerson pitched awesome against that lineup, I trusted a FEliz, Giles, Gregerson and harris with a 1 run lead. Like i said a post some days ago, this team will go as far as our bullpen, because the rotation is not good enough. WE have a bunch of guys that will go 5 and 6, no true ACE as K is struggling and McCullers is walking way too many to go deep into ball games.
It's just absolutely ridiculous how certain people want to criticize every decision Hinch makes. Is he the second coming of Tony La Rusa? No...but he's not a terrible manager. We also don't know the intangibles he brings behind closed doors. He never panicked when they were 10+ under .500 and clearly that rubbed off on the players. After all, there were many of these same criticizers of Hinch saying the season was over awhile ago and everytime we are losing early in the game, the game is over. I'm sure they would be great managers.
