He already has 2 consecutive seasons leading the AL in hits and SBs and currently leads in both categories this year. What's the record for consecutive seasons? If he continues that, plus wins another batting title, he will 2 seasons of leading in BA + SBs + Hits. Can't imagine 10 other players in history doing that multiple times in their careers.
I believe he's one of 2 or 3 players to lead in hits and SBs in consecutive seasons from what I think I head before, him and Shoeless Joe (maybe another guy thrown in there).
as long as it's not "sense8" style. not that there is anything wrong with that kind of weight training.
I would have a pitcher warming up next inning, Fister usually struggles third time around in the lineup. The 5th inning should be difficult.
Did they stop throwing those guys out? Seems to have happened a lot this year. I would, because a grown man had no need for a baseball, but I wouldn't want to get kicked out.
No that's dumbass Cubfan behavior. So we're on the porch watching through the window, and after he bounced those 2 curves I say "Don't throw a get-over fastball here". Boom, "Dammit Doug".
Clemens and Maddux were pitching against each other. It was the first time 2 300 game winners faced each other (since the 1800s). A Cubs player hit a home run off Clemens. A fan threw it back. Idiotic.
