He was pretty good before the back injury. Bad after. We'll see if an offseason of healing gives him back some lateral movement he lost.

[rQUOTEr]Free-agent forward Ryan Anderson has reached agreement on a four-year, $80 million contract with the Houston Rockets, league sources told The Vertical.

Rockets owner Leslie Alexander, the front office and coach Mike D’Antoni met with Anderson in Southern California on Saturday and received a commitment shortly afterward, league sources said.

Anderson, 28, had narrowed his choices to the Rockets and Sacramento Kings. Anderson, a Northern California native, had strong ties to the region and seriously considered a return close to home to play with the Kings.

Anderson has long been coveted in Houston as a three-point shooter who can spread the floor for All-Star guard James Harden. Anderson averaged 17 points and six rebounds for the New Orleans Pelicans this past season.

The Rockets, league sources said, are pushing to get a commitment from another New Orleans free agent: Eric Gordon. Gordon will be meeting with Rockets officials later on Saturday in Southern California.

there's no shot blocking or paint presence. when teams run PnR v harden and anderson with d-mo patrolling the paint, we're doomed. that lineup would be killed on defense.

Basketball skills aside, one thing you know you get from Anderson is someone that won't be a locker room cancer. Lord knows we've had enough chemistry issues.

Turner can score, guard multiple positions, and playmake really well. Add that to a 5th seed, plus they have more money to sign a PF or C. Ryan Anderson plays no D, only O.
