Wouldn't be surprised if we still look at Barnes but I think the Warriors only let them go if they get KD

Still need another ball handler, preferably in the SF position though

Why would they pay him 30 mil when he's 32?

We dreamed of KD, Horford, and Conley; end up with $80 million to Ryan Anderson.

Oh well. We never had a chance in hell with KD, Horford was a longshot, and Conley wouldn't have been a great fit.

This signing is bad but isn't crippling. I'm more sad about it because it officially shatters any delusions I had about the Rockets being a title contender over the next couple of years, before Harden's free agency.

I like the idea of playing him as a 4, can't do that now that Anderson is here.

    25 millions. Good.

Let's see who else is no D injury prone player and sign him too.

    Eric Gordon?

The Blazers paying $17.5 million a season to Evan Turner is better than $20 million for Ryan Anderson? How so?

It's not that I think Anderson is a bad player; it's just that I think it's a bad contract and it prolongs the rebuilding process and puts us directly on a course for slightly above mediocrity. Spending that kind of money on Anderson won't help us down the road and it doesn't help us enough right now. We haven't upgraded anything; we're just treading water.

Actually DMo is a solid post defender.

We get him when HOWARD is now gone.

Morey lazy As$ should've been traded for him when we signed Howard

If anything, I wish it was shorter. 3 years/60M and I think most everyone here would like the signing.

4th year is always a little concerning.

He will be making about 21.2 million in the last year of his contract. Where are you getting 30?

He shoots better than Kevin Love and Rebounds just as good.. in a offense that fits him.. and we can still make deals.. good deal!

Any fan who is suicidal about a role player free agent signing needs to step away and think about other things.

I think part of getting Anderson and at this price was in an effort to alleviate the pressure on the market for DMo. If teams looking to pry Dmo from us know he's our only PF option and they wanted him they'd bid much higher for his services.

This might help to depress the market for Dmo and reduce the bidding price.
