Said it before & I'll say it again. Morey screwed over the Franchise by not paying Parsons & trading Lin for garbage. Are either of them superstars? Hell no! But they were playmakers & scorers, which is why we had such an explosive scoring team. The 13-14 Rockets team was our most talented roster, just needed a real coach.
It pains me to say this, but I actually agree. For all of Lin's faults, the dude could at least create some offense. Same with Parsons. We swung for the fences and struck out.
But how can you say that when you consider how banged up Parsons has been and how poorly he performed given that contract he signed? Dallas didn't even want to keep the guy.
That's if we finish around .500. 25 wins this past season would've been the 5th worst record in the NBA and resulted in a Top 5 pick.
MDA MOREY AND ALEXANDER IS AND WILL BE THE DEATH OF THIS TEAM NOBODY WANT TO PLAY FOR A NERD OF A GM AND LEPRECHAUN OF A OWNER AND HAS BEEN OF A COACH.... LES SHOULD SELL THE TEAM FIRE MOREY AND LOSE MDA

Parsons screwed the Rockets with the timing of his signing as a RFA. He added the douche-y cherry on top with the way he announced the signing. We were going to match after signing Chris Bosh. Lin was traded because we created the space needed to sign Chris Bosh. Chris Bosh ended up leaving us at the alter at the last minute. Unfortunate chain of events.
Coming from a beautiful to watch team like Atlanta, going to another in Boston makes a lot of sense. The Rockets are a total ****show to watch. Horford can recognize good basketball.
That Woj tweet is brutal. Free agents would rather play for the Wizards than us. This is bad. This is really, really bad.
So how come they were close to signing him, before MIA folded and offered the 5th year? It didn't work out, but it was definitely worth trying to get him. Had the org not even tried to get him - oh just imagine the outrage on this board.
I'll never understand players.maybe jakes harden doesbt seem pleasant to play with but y wouldn't u want to play with a top 5 player
This is what this organization gets for ****ting the bed so badly last season. We had an opportunity to set this franchise up for contention for years to come and they screwed it all up.
