We had essentially the same recording in games he played vs the games he didn't. So it's factually not a loss. As well the chemistry with him on the team was a negative. Then factor in we can use that 70.5 mil elsewhere and there is a simple conclusion. We are better with Dwight Howard gone.

Howard was an outstanding Rocket his first two years with amazing playoff-performances.

If Skip is against it then you know its the right move. Jeez, scary good pick up for Atlanta then.

I peeped some Atlanta forums and they are super excited, reminds me of a few years ago. I'm super curious to see how he plays and can't wait to see harden drive through the paint at him for the first time since he was a rocket

Perception is reality. If this was last year, and Dwight left after we got beat by the Warriors in the WCF everyone and there mother would be calling Dwight an idiot, everyone would beg him to come back. Now, after one down season (for everyone not named Harden on the roster) we are all glad to see him go. People get clouded by that, and the smoke of him being a cancer and such. I'll tell you one thing, he will be missed.

The Dwight Howard honeymoon period: if there's a player option, subtract 1 from total # of years in the contract and multiply that by his projected free throw percentage (.48)

I predict he has a bounce back season. Despite the opinion of some on this board, Dwight is still a very talented player.

Free agency started today. Dwight doesn't fit here so no, we weren't going to resign him even if it was cheaper

He's either going to A) Throw Harden's shot into the stands or B) Throw Harden into the stands.

Well, he will be playing 100% this time. So I have no doubt you will be correct.

Free Agency started today but many of the decent FA's already signed. Al Jefferson signed a 3/$30 mil. deal with Indiana, which was a steal. Fournier resigned with 5 yr $17 mil per yr deal. 2 guys that would've really upgraded this roster... Morey can wait for Horford but he should've made some moves already...

Wow, I did not expect that. Expect Atlanta's chemistry to suffer greatly. I wish GSW would have signed him so he could kill their chemistry. Oh well chemistry is chemistry, he will destroy any chemistry he is presented with.

Goes down with Pippen and McGrady as one of the worst attitudes to ever stain my Houston Rockets.

"arrrghhh dwight sucked he couldnt even hit a dream shake"

He will do great because ATL has high IQ guys who know how to utilize a big man. Then the little crybabies around here will find another reason to hate.
