That puts them in a pretty uncomfortable position then. Remember, Bazemore and Horford are "very close" per Feigen. The Rockets are offering the only option for both of them to continue to play together.
Still, that feels like it is spending too much money on the frontcourt if they were planning to keep Horford, Millsap and Howard. I would think they are either going to try to trade Millsap and keep Horford as a PF or they are already planning for Horford to leave. But that's just my gut feeling, could be completely wrong
Bye Dwight. Wish we had traded you and get an asset or two at last season's trade deadline when we had the chance. At that point we all knew the season was lost anyway.
Gotta say, he's a great guy. People call him a cancer, people dog him, but the guy off the court is the best. I wish him well.
70 million to a dude who's scared to shoot a jumper, because he's AFRAID he'll miss. On top of that he can't make a FT if his life depended on it (plus it never occurred to him that putting stickum on his hands sure doesn't help). I guess that's life in the NBA. Enjoy your time in the ATL Dwight.
I think Milsap would be very good in this offense. Hope the Rockets scoop him up along with Bazemore. Pass on Horford.
They can cover both Bazemore and Horford's cap holds, but Baze has no Bird Rights. So, yes, I think they lose Bazemore, since they don't have Bird Rights, so won't have enough to pay him. They can sign Horford to max for sure, though. .
Not like we really even had a system. This offense was damn ugly to watch at times, so many jacked up threes. Good luck in ATL.
You haven't been paying attention, bruh. Nobody is bitter.. This is probably the least amount of bitterness I have ever witnessed on Clutcfans after a starter has left.
Don't the Hawks run a similar read-and-react offense to the Rockets and ... I thought Dwight said in the past he didn't want to play in Atlanta even though it's "home". In any case... it'll be interesting to see how Budenholzer incorporates him into the offense and see if he's willing to pick and roll. I had no problems with Dwight until he basically said he became disinterested when he stopped getting touches. After that, I didn't care if he stayed or left. Actually I preferred if he left to free up some capspace so we could go after... uh... Kent Bazemore. Yeah, that's it... what a stud that Bazemore is. Seriously, though. Dwight seems like a good dude who really will never maximize his potential.

You must be living in Fairytale Land if you don't think multiple teams are trying to get Holford and Bazemore the Rockets aren't the only choice people open your damn eyes
