Bazemore is a different class of shooter than Ariza.

    1. Quick release - he snatches the ball out of the air, ready to fire, elevates very quickly, and let's it fly. Ariza is just so much slower catching the ball, then squaring, then slowly uncoiling into his release.

    2. Bazemore can put the ball on the floor, make a move lIke a guard, and go to the rack. His first step is lightning. Ariza doesn't have a handle. The moment he bounces the basketball the first time, everybody gets sphincter cramp. Defenders have to honor Bazemore's dribble-drive and hesitate on the closeout. With Ariza they close out hard daring him to dribble the ball.

Good analysis. Agree on both counts. Hope he's prepared for the kind of volume he would get here.

That actually makes me feel better. Forgot he did that with Atlanta. Harden needs that and some of that playmaking he possesses.

Bazemore reminds me of one...Barbosa... a better defensive player/ OK offensive player. Hoping the Rockets find a way to land the kid...

Bazemore's 3pt shooting motion looks a lot like Cuttino Mobley to me. Almost identical,,,it's very nostalgic for me to look at.

While Cat could shoot with a quick release, we all saw how much better he is at a controlled, comfortable release, which is a little slower. Bazemore is the same way. But they both have high release points.

Cuttino is also the best comparison to his drives and defense too. I don't see why we are comparing to current Rockets. Barbosa is not a good comparison.

He's just playing around with headlines...I think.

    Unless he's hinting at something.

Sign Bazemore first to lure Horford would make sense, but I don't think we sign Bazemore without Horford guarantee.

Could we conceivably get Bazemore, Horford and Durant?

    Just wondering...

We are trying to lure Durant. Something like this makes more sense.

    Sign Bazemore.
Line up trades for Rubio and Noel. Sign Durant. Execute trades. We could possibly turn Dwight into a sign and trade part of this. But our lineup would look like this:

    Rubio-Harden-Bazemore-Noel-Durant

I really think we're shooting for something like this.
