Yeah I'm on edge. It's looking increasingly likely that we aren't going to make any major moves....

Lol, Morey and Les waiting on one guy and loses out any many others that could've helped in the slightest.

Why are we the last to make big time moves. This waiting game is getting on my nerves.

Are we actually even getting a meeting? Figured it would've happened by now.

Yeah, but given the cost of the other guys, maybe they're better off in the long run standing pat.

wouldn't fix their main issues of defense and rebound but all of their bigs are weak in the paint and in the post. Good fit but they will still need a paint protector

I have a feeling nothing is going to happen. We will sign minor additions and we will be a 6-8 seed next year. Hey at least we have our "flexibility"

Rockets will surely offer the max. And then Horford can decide if he wants Thomas as a running mate or James Harden.

Really the Celtics spot is not much more different than Horford's Atlanta spot. A team with good players but not superstar. With Houston, Horford gets to finally play with that top level star in Harden.

    I think that's exactky what's going on.

I'm sure rocnets want to sign horford for max baze for 15-16 match Dmo and trade Ariza for a guard who can score/ playmake off the bench maybe try and sign Eric Gordon

If we swing baze as well we're getting two of their top players added to a team with a top 10 player in the league and (with them) a better roster as a whole

In case it hasn't been posted 100 times already, a max contract for Al Horford would look like this (subject to adjustment based on actual cap figures due out by July 7):

    2016-17 (Age 30): $26,400,000
    2017-18 (Age 31): $27,588,000
    2018-19 (Age 32): $28,776,000
    2019-20 (Age 33): $29,964,000

FYI, those figures may go up, as many expect the actual cap figure to come in over the recently-projected $94 million.

So they'll just slide Paul over to the 3??? That's stupid.

In other words we are not offering the max like the Celtics. Rockets are out

I know this may be wrong, but the more i think about this, the more i think with Dwight there, Horford is gone, if they plan to sign Howard and Horford there's no way Millsap comes off the bench, at that point they would be forced to trade him and since he's an expiring they cannot trade him where they want, this could put them in a bad position overall...

The most logical outcome of this situation is :

    - Dwight and Parsons both going to Portland, it make most sense due to Portland already has a dynamic duo and they will fit in perfectly, plus they still have the same agent?

    - So the Hawks will strike out on Dwight, they will decide to keep Horford for sure, max 5 years deal, he is going to stay.

    - Another shltty team will offer more than the Rox on Bazemore, and obviously he will grab the money and go there.

    - Now since Portland will land 2 big names, they will let go of Allen Crabbe, that will be the most logical choice of the Rox, but still we will have competitors, such as Dallas, he won't be cheap either, probably at the range of 15-16 per.

    - Finally, of course the Rox will hope for Ryan Anderson's market to clam down a bit and get him around 16-18 per and then call it for the day.

Well, The Hawks could sign Dwight, re-sign Horford and then trade Millsap to the Rockets for Ariza & Bev. And Rockets sign Baze.

    How about that?

If the Blazers will get Parsons and Dwight, plus their own dynamic duo, obviously this will put them very near the top tier of the team in the west, if not already in it.

I will take this Portland team over the Clippers for sure.
