Thanks. The Nets' pursuit of Bazemore seemed natural to me, but I didn't know it was real. It'll be a perfect fit. If they also get Horford (they have the capspace to max him out), they would instantly have a pretty formidable starting lineup: Lin-Bazemore-(someone)-Horford-Lopez.
Putting aside the LOF/LOH Lin should fire his agent for signing so quick. Could of gotten a lot more money with teams spending the way they are. He's contract looks like a steal thus far.
He's looking long term. Get a starter job, pad stats and when this three year contract expires, bang!!
I have a theory about Lin. It's more important for him to win and be perceived as a good basketball player than it is to get the biggest possible contract. Because... CHINA I can't even comprehend having a nation of a billion people see me as their greatest athlete ever or whatever. I mean... if Lin wins a chip, he'll end up being a billionaire by selling shoes in China or whatever.
Funny with all the crazy overpaid contracts being given out today, ALL THE NBA PLAYERS AND FORMER PLAYERS only said LIN IS THE MOST OVERPAID AND RIDICULOUS CONTRACT given out. Davis: LIN IS OVERPAID Marbury: I AM PEACE STAR Verified account @StarburyMarbury I AM PEACE STAR Retweeted REESE HAHA!! The #NBA used my man to attract the Asian market. I don't think the money is about basketball.
ALL NBA Players hate LIN. That's why you don't want him on your team http://nypost.com/2016/07/01/not-everyone-is-a-fan-of-jeremy-lins-nets-deal/ This isn’t the first time a Jeremy Lin contract has sparked some backlash from a fellow player. But the most recent case came Friday morning, when recently released Nets point guard Jarrett Jack chimed in with some apparent sarcasm after Brooklyn signed Lin to a reported three-year, $36 million deal. The Nets had pocketed nearly $6 million by cutting Jack, after they only owed him $500,000 of his $6.3 million contract.
grown men only seem to comment on Lin's contract. grown NBA players seems to only care about how much Lin is making Why is that?
Believe it or not, Lin probably makes the league more money than else not name Steph Curry or Lebron James. Due to virtues or whatever.. It's a race based thing to quell egocentric.. whatever but the fact is this man helps pay the leagues bills and doesn't get his fair share. Even this contract undervalues what he makes the franchise in return.
