You can't really think of it that way. Plan A isn't Bazemore. Plan A is Bazemore, Player X, Player Y and trade Z. This is simply the first piece. If paying a premium makes the others fall in place, then the overall value is what you care about. If Bazemore doesn't accept the offer, it likely doesn't mean that Morey moves on to the next player, he probably has to move on to a completely different plan. We need to let the entire offseason play out before we judge.

Bazemore is pretty solid... He shoots 40 percent from corner 3 (Which is were
he will be wide open all the time)
Very good defender- I think hes a perfect fit next to Harden

Hell no on Barnes, but I like Bazemore and Dudley. Rather than waste money on Barnes save that cap space for next offseason.

Offer Bazemore 4/$78MM and lock it up. He'll be worth the deal in the cap environment after this year.

This team needs talent and diversity.

Shooters and defenders who can do a little everything.

Absolutely not true. Actually Brewer is on a very good contract compared to what players are being paid with the new cap. He will be relatively easy to move this season. Kent is worth the 70m. Did you watch him play at all? He'd be the best defender on the team.

I've liked Bazemore since he was at Golden State. Wanted us to sign him at the minimum. I'm questioning the price right now but not the fit. He'd be a great player for us on both ends of the court.

Career avg 6.4 ppg...he's already 27 so I doubt he improves much! I'd rather sign a more skillful player like Harrison Barnes! Somebody who can..you know..create their own shot! Not feeling it..pass!

Kent Bazemore is crazy athletic, can handle the ball in transition and can create his own shot. Yet you want Barnes? Get a clue!

If the offer is 4 years $60 million, that makes more sense. It's also about as much money we can give Bazemore while still being able to offer Horford the max and not being forced to trade anyone or renounce our rights to DMo.

I think you need to add some content to that statement. He averaged almost 14 ppg for the Lakers a few years ago but barely played the following year in Golden Stat (which hurt is overall scoring average). He averaged almost 12 ppg in 27 minutes last season with good averages all around.

Maybe we will get the chance to find out maybe not.

That's what he's asking for. I'd be a little surprised if he got it, even in this market.
