Dang, I can't believe they locked the Terry Puhl thread. It was like a safe place for him to play, padded walls and everything. It was kind of fun watching.
Is a pity because the next manager was Scrap Iron, a manager that took us to the playoffs twice, first manager to win division series, and took us for the first time, well, only time to the World Series. He also has best percentage win record for a year .649 in 2004 after management fired Williams after a 44 and 44 record.
Cafe Beignet actually better than Cade Du Monde... but the latter is something to see if you've never been to either. Stanley has a great brunch/bloody mary.
Another quiz question, last National league manager for the Astros is Tony Defranseco. First American league manager, that one is easy, Bo Porter.
Do people really, really like chicory coffee and beignets or is it more of a "I'm in NO and I'm supposed to do this" kind of thing? Discuss.
I actually don't care much for the beignets... hence why Cafe Beignet is a pretty damn good place (they have other things... like crawfish omelets). They also made the chocolate milk fresh... my kid loved it. But if you have to try them... the quality there is slightly better than du monde.
I like crawfish in stuff, but I don't like the peel and eat crawfish. Too much work for too little reward.
Yup, You're right...well for a few minutes between the Toronto loss and the end of the KC game the Astros had that spot
