I know it's not going to happen but... Rubio Harden Durant Horford Noel Payton/Terry Gentile/vet min Covington/Dekker D.Mo /Beasley Capela/vet min (Nene if available would be ok) This would be soo good...
Honestly if Philly wants rubio and Minny wants veterans I could see a 3way like the following Houston out: bev/ariza/dekkar Houston in: noel/Covington/tyus/bjelica Houston outlook: assets, flexibility and youth. Noel helps shore IP the 5 split with capela. Covington and bjelica are sharpshooters for off the bench. Tyus is a young pg Morey always likes to take chances on. This also frees up more cap space, but we would def have to address the pg spot but its possible. Philly out: noel/covington Philly in: rubio/dekkar Philly outlook: they like him but is it too much? Would they like another vet?. Covington is gonna be phased out and they have too many bigs. I could see them taking this. Minny out: rubio/tyus/bjelica Minny in: bev/ariza Minny outlook: don't need rubio or tyus blocking the way with dunn and lavine in line and newly acquired bev that Thibs would like. Ariza is also a vet I could see Thibs looking and wanting. Def an upgrade for them at the loss of bjelica?
The Rockets should absolutely claim Damien Inglis off waivers. And then let him play and become an elite playmaking wing and illustrate how much of dumpsh!Ts the Bucks managment is. Plz Morey.
yes because they have the brain of a chicken whose head was cut off. I am coming from two days of twitter fighting with the arrogant richie owner's kid who believes he's some kind of big deal and better than the whole Bucks fans fanbase and doesn't know crap like the rest of the organisation. I think I will stick around here more soon enough.
what's the latest on Aldrich? I know we talked about him earlier and his late season improvement...but any idea how much he'll be getting?
Wow. Inglis is tailor made for an MDA system, and if he ever gets that jumper to become consistent he will be scary. Claim Inglis off waivers and sign Lance Stephenson. Rockets will be rocked up on the perimeter with Harden, Stephenson and Inglis posting up or penetrating at will. If Houston also trades for Bledsoe and have Inglis and Gentile coming off bench Rockets would absolutely bully teams. Morey needs to act now.
https://twitter.com/siriusxmnba/status/748298617325182976 Lol. How much do you think you're gonna get Terry?
Point Guard Eric Gordon 15PPG & .384 3PT% Patrick Beverly 10PPG & .400 3PT% Shooting Guard James Harden 29PPG & .359 3PT% Alesandro Gentile Small Forward Chandler Parsons 13.7PPG & .414 3PT% Trevor Ariza 12.7PPG & .371 3PT% Power Forward Donatos Motiejunas 6.2PPG & .289 3PT% Michael Beasley 12.8PPG & .333 3PT% Center Al Horford 15.2PPG & .344 3PT% Clint Capela
It's a playoff team; it's no where near a contending team. But it's nice to see a plausible roster scenario like this laid out. Eric Gordon ain't not point guard though.
Your right about Gordon, but neither is any other player the Rockets would bring in as long as James Harden is on the team. It's the closest thing I could see happening. Durant is a pipe dream IMO.
Agreed on Durant; and indeed this is a very realistic scenario. Wonder what it would cost to sign Rondo; he's underrated; will explode this season fully healthy.
Wow... what? Why would the Bucks cut him I get that they have Middleton and GreekFreak and Vaughan - but I really liked the potential in Inglis. He just has that nice size, and can defend. It's not too much of a stretch to could see him replicating what Roberson does for the Thunder.... Surely they could have given him away for a 2nd or something? 6'8 wings who can really defend are a useful commodity in the NBA
