That is a great point, and i agree with you, but how many times have you seen 2 relievers warming up at the same time, the closer and other, and they choose depending on the score. If is only 3 runs, the closer goes, if not, the other reliever. We have seen it in the past with Gregerson and Neshek warming up at the same time.
They've now won 7 of 8 road games. By far their best stretch since early last year. No longer mental midgets?
You have to be worn out And looks like the little girl didn't actually know how to use the ignore function Maybe someone can help her out
Some fast facts: 1. There was no need for a long man today so using Feliz and Devenski yesterday didn't matter. 2. Lineup may have looked weird, but Gonzalez got a game's worth of exposure in left field. Had a misplay, but it may be worth it down the road. Marisnick got in some work. Reed gets more MLB fielding experience at 1B. Hinch probably also trying to have him do something rather than langusih on the bench at DH. Good job Hinch. 3. Keuchel was wisely kept in the game to get the last 3 outs in the 5th and 3 up, 3 down in the 6th. 4. 120 push-ups. Not bad and easy to do when spaced over a couple of hours.
Sorry, but i don't see Feliz as a long reliever, i see him as our 6th inning guy when leading or tied, meaning, BIG SITUATIONS. Second part, agree with you, but disagree on not using the best defense at the end of games, and sorry my friend, but is NOT the first time. Third, yes, used correctly and like i told you before, he is good third time in the lineup, BUT, i said I WANT SOMEONE WARMING UP. Also, a very good move that you DID NOT MENTIONED, not pitching K in the 7th. He was under 100 pitches, and did good in the 6th, but giles was used in the 7th, good move. 4. Good to do exercises. Finally, your arguments are much much better than those by Mr. Beard.
going to have to join you in this endeavor. the ignore list just isn't cutting it and no matter how much i've turned the other cheek, having a workout release is a great idea. If I mixed this in with my garm viewing for DaDakota and bballholic, I might be ready for the next iteration of the olympics or strongman competition.
Dude I think you're reading it wrong. Yeah if Altuve or any other player goes 0-18 than yeah they are sucking at the plate. Every player sucks at the plate at some point during the season. Reed currently sucks at the plate but no one thinks he's a lost cause.
Yes, because he was, just like every other player in the history of MLB has sucked for some period of time. George Springer put up a .480 OPS his first 14 games in the majors, btw. (Altuve hit .340 but he's just a freak of nature) Rezdawg does have a point, Reed needs to have better ABs, not so much hits, just better ABs.
How good is Correa defensively this year? He has 6 errors, same as Simmons who many feel is the best defensive short stop in the majors. Yes, he may have more range, but Correa also has a good range, and major improvement from last year. I think he will finish with at least .280 average at the end of the year.
Tonight we are Yankees fan. next series we are facing Sale on Saturday, so is not going to be an easy series.
you know what's rough? Missing some time, catching up, and then doing the necessary pushups. I can't space them out!
Ended up being one of his better starts. Very easily could have been 1 run in 6 innings with a chance to pitch 7th. Defense and ump really let him down today. Good to see the offense pick him up for the 2nd straight start.
