Sorry if this has been posted, but it's just so bizarre. The Trump campaign is soliciting donations... from members of foreign parliaments. Iceland, Austria, and others. Multiple emails, to all members, asking them to help him defeat "Crooked Hillary."

I know the source leans left but I believe the facts. Why on Earth is Trump doing this?

I would agree with this. Clinton has a pretty solid electoral base to build off. As 538 notes Trump is still having trouble consolidating what are traditionally safe Repub states.

I think Trump will end up consolidating most typically red states but I think he has some real trouble in AZ which has traditionally been a red state. Further states like NC, CO, and VA which have recently become swing states I think will go Clinton's way. Where Trump has a chance is flipping OH, PA, IN, or MI. I don't think he'll get all of them but he might get one of them.

I think it's just a matter of Trumps campaign not being competent in managing email lists-- one of the basic skills of running a political campaign-- so a bunch of foreign official emails addresses got mixed in with the email list for U.S. supporters.

GOP voters said they wanted someone who isn't a politician. Well, they got their wish. Trump doesn't even want to bother with any of the basic skills at getting things done in politics.

Trump if he gets into office after a terrorist attack.

"Hey, what does this button do?"

    He can't be elected.

You know your argument is weak when you have to use Utah to back it up.

Trump isn't even a billionaire. He values his name at $3 Billion and that's where the "billionaire" status comes from. Don't get me wrong, a name can have value (think Michael Jordan), but if it's not linked to anything, it's worthless. He's had 4 businesses go bankrupt that he tried to manage. All he does is buy real estate or other items (vodka, water, steak), put his name on it, and let other people manage it. He wants to bring this country back to 1776 when white men had all the power.

I love how he says in one of his speeches "I love the poorly educated" and most of the people voting for him don't even realize they're talking about them.

For the good of the country, he shouldn't even be nominated at the convention.

saying you want to build a wall is not necessarily racist. its just f***ing stupid. it is a huge waste of money and it wont even work.

people think trump is racist b/c he labeled illegal immigrants as rapists and drug dealers, says a federal judge is biased b/c he is "mexican" (even though he was born in america) and wants to ban muslims from entering america, just to name a few.

for the record, i dont think trump is actually racist (he is a piece of s*** though) and i dont think he believes half of what he says. he is a used car salesman playing to an audience. it is all target marketing.

Such analytics. Peace walls and e-verify have worked in other countries. So why not here?

Part of me laughs at what a terrible candidate Trump is, and I look forward to reading the Alt Right's reaction when Hillary crushes him, but as an American it's embarrassing that he'll be one of our major party candidates. I may dislike and disagree with Cruz, but at least he's qualified. People debate whether voters should take a civics test before being able to vote, I'd rather have both parties develop a basic political science/history/economics test for presidential candidates to take and pass before being allowed to run in their parties' primaries.
