Yeah, the final replay they had showed it imo. Still questionable, but I think if you had a line drawn on ball-path, you would see a slight deviation after it went by

If it was reviewable it would be the rare play where I think call on the field really should stand because it is close to 50/50.

Live, I thought it hit him, then I thought it didn't, and then like you I thought I saw that slight change, but boy is that close. Did Simmons get an error there? Would seem very unfair.

Reed isn't staying inside at all. Pulling off of everything too early.

Wow, Reed's approach at the plate is terrible. I dont care if he's only played in a few games, it's the way he's swinging (or not swinging), that has me less than confident. He's not ready yet.

he did. he has to, unfortunately...either it hit Altuve (which would be an out) or he missed a fairly routine ball

Pull Keuchel now. We can afford to stretch out our superior bullpen with the rest tomorrow.

From Cy Young to flat out mediocre in one offseason... Imagine how much better we'd be with even 70% of last years Keuchel?

Runner cutting in front of him like that isn't routine, IMO. If losing a pop up in the sun is a hit, to me that play should be, though I suppose it still would have been an error for Altuve making it home.

    He's pressing like crazy.

At least now he knows what he's up against when he comes back.

I think you give him a chance to finish out the inning and then go to the pen in the 6th.

If Feliz is able to pitch, he should go the 6th, Giles 7th, Gregerson 8th and Harris 9th

As much as people are down on Keuchel today, he got squeezed on the HR, gave up the 2nd run on an error, his pitch count was increased by the missed DP back in the 1st.

He has hit his spots more often today, but has gotten squeezed a few times but still getting pounded when he mistakes over the plate.
