Except Errbody was created by a fake Strong Twitter account, it's a joke, and that's how UT fans use it. I don't think we'll be selling #Errbody to buy recruits like A&M did with Mack.
Texas is on the right track. Getting the recruits is step 1. Holding them accountable and developing them is step 2. The results should eventually translate onto the football field.
What makes you so confident he would take the UT job? I certainly wouldn't rule it out, but Herman has a strong distaste for overly powerful alumni and desires a lot of control over the program he runs. Also, if Herman has another really good year, he is likely to have his pick of jobs if he chooses to leave.
Of the available jobs. Texas won't have an opening. A&M might. Baylor will. I think he wants to stay in Texas. Him returning to UH for a third season is my bet. After that.. I think he could be out.
Texas needs 4 huge things to happen this year: 1. Buechele has to be a competent QB, they have the running game to take pressure off him and talent at WR, but he can't go all G.Gilbert 2. They have to find DL who can make plays, they have the talent but they're young 3. PK can't be a total disaster. This is a huge black/question mark on Strong right now 4. I think the OL will be good, there's a ton of young talent but there's no experienced depth
This has been discussed quite a bit but he's going to have this at every major program in the country. Texas is no different from Bama, tOSU, LSU, USC, etc...in terms of that so unless he's really content at a UH or another smaller program (not meant to be a knock), it's something he is going to have to deal with and think he fully understands that.
No beat Baylor? That'll be a fun game. Baylor should be favored esp since we will be coming off a bye week and UT has a road game 7 days prior. I'll be in Austin.. My boy has 6 season tickets so I don't get taxed to watch Baylor take some frustration out on the field
That'll fall if Fowler can't pass his SAT and whatever else he is doing. Yea we are ****ed with the kicker position. Totally agree about the lines. A lot of young talent but there is serious talent there on both sides of the ball. Life for Buechele will be so much easier if our running game picks up and Chris Warren looked amazing at the end of last year. I've never seen the Katy RB play. No running game threat allows the D to protect against the pass more. Everyone will have to have reasonable expectations for Buechele though. The good thing is he can make quick reads and throws and the two new speedster WRs might be able to get quick openings.

This is just based on the roster page on their website. I think it would be crappy if they didn't include the guys after they committed. It's not official in any sense. I'll feel good when the paperwork is all processed.

Unfortunately he is probably right on Fowler. Looking like he won't make it in for summer II. Making it for the fall is still an option though.
