Man if we aren't on the list I hope he drags it out at least so that we can at least snap up another big FA since we are going to be after a lot of the same players as the Heat, Celtics, and even Spurs. If they are waiting on Durant maybe it will benefit us.
No it won't, Morey will not sign anyone before Durant makes a decision. Quick decision is in our favour, not dragging it out. At all!

if that happens, I hope even Les will realize we need to go into full rebuild because there is no way we have a chance at winning the west for the next few years.
There are so many overwhelming reasons why he should stay, it makes me think that the meetings (at least the most mentioned ones) he's taking are more about sending messages to his organization: - GSW: "Presti, there are teams that are better built then us. Keep making us better." - SAS: "There are organizations that are better run long term than us. If I'm committing my career here, a long-term culture is important."
Its pretty much official we won't be getting Durant. Our team is kind of a mess. The only positives we have are Harden, Capela and Morey. I list everything else as either a negative (Les, MDA (maybe), Brewer, Ariza) or insignificant (Beasley, Beverly not game changers, MDA(maybe))
If he does stay, that team is going to be a mess with Durant, Westbrook and Oladipo all fighting for the ball because of the 3, only Durant can shoot over 35% from 3 and be a real off ball threat. Oladipo and Westbrook have similar styles which require the ball in their hands. I would imagine lanes would be packed pretty tight on that team.
That's crazy! I wonder why we wouldn't be on there... People would absolutely take 100/1 odds. I know I would.
Holy ****. Were really, really not even going to get an interview are we? There's nothing i can foresee doing to build a contender outside of getting Durant. I know Horford and Conley will not come, but they would only make us a 4th seed at best. Prepare yourselves ladies and gents. The pain and misery of this past season was only the beginning. Were in for another 2 seasons of mediocrity before James Harden inevitably leaves us in free agency. From then on, LES has shown all signs of not wanting to rebuild through the lottery due to hurting his "winning" record as an owner. Were in for a long run of mediocrity. Possibly a full decade's worth.
