There's no denying Harris has been noticeably less productive since his promotion. Maybe he's just in the "serviceable" category as far as "closer". And agreed, Giles is the main problem regarding closer. Everybody knows the exact reason he was brought here. Still cheering for him though, no doubt.
kind of interesting to me that they are going to Feldman instead of Devenski tomorrow, with Feldman being such a bigger part of the pen. Multiple starts, I'd get it (and maybe that's the case), but if they're really confident it's just a spot start, may as well have gone Devenski, instead of killing a big piece of your pen for 5 days.
and 2 hit by pitch with 1 and 2 count. The guy has trouble with walks, he is terrible. I was surprised he K Choo, not surprised he is struggling with control now
That bullcrap HR call/rule against Vally's HR ended our 4-bag streak at 11 games. Bullcrap situation If Feldman goes 4 innings, could he come back in 3 days? Would a manager force relieve a starter <5 innings if he's doing well?
Strikeout the first guy, hit the next two. It seems he thinks he starts with a strike to every batter.
He is terrible, over 4 walks per 9 inning, an ERA close to 5 and whip around 1.4 He is a mediocre reliever
