Why are you still watching? Game was over last inning, right? We wouldn't score more than one run, right?
My friend, give thanks to a guy named Valbuena because this game should be 4 to 2 if he does not make that play.
This is why it is such an amazing thing to have a good hitter not named Altuve, Springer, or Correa in the 2-hole. You don't want to give Valbuena something to hit? Fine, here comes Altuve... Don't want to pitch to him? Awesome, here comes Correa. Just need one more hitter, imo.
When he says the game is over, that's the time I take a sigh of relief, knowing a comeback is in play.
For anyone who happened to miss the pitch that Trout hit the HR on. The count was 1-2. Trout had just fouled off a couple of higher pitches (of course, 99.99% of pitches were higher than the one he hit out). Now, at least one poster thinks at this point in the game (lead off hitter in the inning with a 1-2 count) that Hinch should have intentionally walked him. Here is the picture. Notice where Castro is receiving the ball. Notice how far down Trout is reaching. Spoilering just in case it is too big. Spoiler m
To add to that--the announcers on ESPN pointed out, that pitch was definitely going to bounce in there. Trout came out in front to get the ball before it bounced (depth isn't as easy to pick up on this angle)
