I don't think Durant is Morey's main target, but he will try to recruit Durant if he get a chance. AI Harford is maybe the No1 target
So I'd like to get some folks' take on Horford. Personally I think he'd just be another cog in the mediocre treadmill. We'd max out a 30 yr old PF/C that only averages about 17/8 per 36 minutes? It's not like he plays elite defense. I don't understand; we'd be way better off maxing out Whiteside (who gets you 17/15 plus4.5 blocks per 36 min). Thoughts on Horford?
What about Evan Fournier? Kent Bazemore? Not sure i want to overpay but Four ier is only 23 and is a deadly shooter. I am sure his defense is suspect though.
Not a fan of Horford at all. I would much prefer Whiteside, or any combination of available players that would cost the same amount as Horford.
Rockets facing competition on Anderson! [rquoter]WIZARDS SET SIGHTS ON RYAN ANDERSON With free agency set to open at the end of the week, Ryan Anderson is their next priority, multiple league sources tell CSNmidatlantic.com on Monday, and they'll make an aggressive move in hopes of securing the three-point shooting forward. The Wizards will have a lot of competition for Anderson's services. He may command in the range of $17 million in the open market, one league GM projected in an interview with CSN recently. Anderson, sources tell CSN, likely won't make a decision until Durant makes his on whether or not to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder. Some of the teams that have their sights on Durant have Anderson high on their radars, too. This is why the price for Anderson is projected to rise but the Wizards will have about $30 million in cap room.[/rquoter]
The team needs adhesives like AI Horford. Of course, we r welcome If Whiteside would come here, but I think Whiteside will sign with Miami or Lakes, Money is his first choice

I'd be happy if we got away with Whiteside and horford ...trade Ariza for a upgrade at PG (a young under the radar PG like smart or rozier ) +a big like Amir/Sculley would fit me just fine. SMART HARDEN KJ HORFORD WHITESIDE
Mocking free agency in order of supposed value: 1). Lebron -Cavs 2). KD -OKC 3). Drummond -Detroit 4). Whiteside -Miami or LAL 5). Derozen -TO or LAL 6). Conley -Memphis or ? 7). Horford -? (I hope not Houston) 8). Howard -not gonna be Houston 9). Beal -Wash 10). Wade -Mia 11). Barnes -? 12). Gasol -? 13). Dirk -Dal 14). Parsons -? 15). Rondo -? 16). Batum -Charlotte or ? 17). Al Jeff -? 18). Duncan -retire or SA 19). Anderson -? 20). fournier -Orlando 21). Clarkson -LAL 22). Noah -NY Of the ?, only Conley (maybe Batum) are worth overpaying. There are other guys I like, like Bazemore, but these guys aren't the difference makers we need to get back to contending. So can someone please explain how our salvation is supposed to come from free agency? I don't see it!
Not sure why everyone is saying Beal will stay in Washington. Most of their fans don't want to max him out at all. I highly doubt Washington would match, they dont want to pay him the max from what I've heard.
Someone will have to explain to me the hatred for Al Horford. The guy basically has put up 15/7/3/1 the last two seasons with well above average level efficiency and advanced numbers while playing solid defense and not turning the ball over. The Rockets have not had anybody on the roster remotely capable of doing that since Harden has joined the team. What am I missing here? I've been on Team Horford since like midway through last season when it became obvious Dwight was on his way out. And yet, for some reason, half of Clutchfans seems to totally hate the guy. Did he personally nail all of your sisters and not call them back? Did he snub all of you when you tried to get his autograph at restaurants? Seriously, what?
