I know KD doesn't want to be a Rocket, but any insider info or rumors about who does?

Any info on who we are targeting or who we plan to touch base with on July 1?

Any info you have and can share would be greatly appreciated!

im surprised by the lack of rumors of linking any paler to the Rockets early on..

we have almost 50 million of cap space, but somehow we are not link to anyone yet

Courtney Lee is asking for at least 14 per and the Kings are determined to pay him.
He may be one of our targets.

I think only Dudley has shown any interest in joining us. Gentile too but he's not an FA.

The Harden-Gentile-Dudley Big 3 is about to tear apart the NBA.

The league is watered down... players just follow no real leaders in this new era.

    Rockets.
We won't be paying Lee 14 per, but we will pay Barnes and Parsons 25 per?
Not to mention we may end up trading Ariza and be left with no wing.

This free agency is going to be wild. Players are going to get paid crazy amounts. 14 mil for Courtney Lee is almost double of what he's currently making.

Pretty sure Batum is going to go between 20 to 25 mil

DeRozan only has 1 meeting scheduled and that's with the Raptors (Loyal guy)

Rondo is saying he wants to play in New York or stay in Sac Town

Have yet to see anything on Conley. Would think if Rockets had a meeting scheduled with him Morey would be yapping about it.

And I have not seen any rumors regarding the Rockets meeting with anyone.

I feel like Daryl Morey is keen on keeping Josh Smith on the team.

I wouldnt mind him staying for vet min and having a minimal role. Fits in a uptempo style, will try hard on defense and he passes well. Had a bad return with us for some reason, that spark just didn't happen this time around. I think it was too much other stuff going on with the team. Let him replace T Jones on the roster at PF.

I'm bracing for something that'll make Rockets fans howl, like Jeremy Lin and Marvin Williams, and Morey will be like, they are two star level talents and its actually a really good value, etc., etc., and then the rockets fans will be like, oh great, now we're the Hornets of the West...

I was wondering abou tthis earlier today. It seems like Morey has been pretty open about who he was going to talk to as soon as the clock strikes 12. Not to have heard anything seems kind of odd. I'm not sure I've even heard any mention of the type of player they would target (someone to help take some of the offensive burden from harden, wing defender, rim protector, etc.). This team failed big time last year. Where do they think we need to make improvements?
