Danny and her massive army and Navy along with her dragons will make short work of Cersie and what's left of the Lannister Army. She will have to move forward and link up with Jon Snow fairly quickly in order to save the kingdom from the white walkers.
Bro she clearly says "his name is", then it immediately transitions to Jon's face. How long did it take you to type up all of that for nothing?
They did the whole switch the babies face into Jon Snow's face, which clearly implied the baby and Jon Snow were the same person. That would kind of be a pretty cheap/crappy way of misleading people if that turns out not to be the case.
Just a few minutes. And I'll have to re watch because I never saw anything like that. She whispered somethin in Ned's ear that none of us heard. Why did she whisper and why did the show hide that from us? I saw her saying "Promis me Ned" when the camera cut to Jon. But I will re watch and see. Just a wild ass theory though so don't get your panties in a wad.
1) Ned wasn't prepared to go to war with Robert over Dany, he was just prepared to quit behind the hand of the king. He was honorable to a fault and wasn't going to have murdering a child on his resume. If you'll recall, he went back to being hand even despite the fact that Robert gave the order and wouldn't reverse it. 2) There is no need to over complicate the mystery. There's no need for extra swapping. The cutaway made it clear. 3) They actually DID reveal the gender. You can hear Lyanna tell Ned that Robert would "kill him" referring to the baby. Everything was super obvious. Ned found Lyanna, guarded by Kingsguard. When he reached her in the tower she has given birth and is dying. She tells him that the boy's is the son of Rhaegar as that is the only reason Robert would want to kill the baby. She asks him to protect him and makes him promise.
didn't she tell Daario she is leaving the Dothraki with him? I don't believe the Dothraki are heading to Westeros at present...
Rewatch it with the volume up. You can see her whisper "his name is" and then it fades a little and then comes back to "If Robert finds out he'll kill him, you know he will."
Haha, come on man. Did you watch the end of the episode? The Dothraki are (strangely) operating the ships. We see them and their horses on the ships as they head to Westeros. She left the Second Sons behind to guard the peace and took the Dothraki, the Unsullied and the Greyjoys.
Have to figure that Littlefinger is at least vaguely aware of Dany. The sooner he realizes that's who he should try to marry, the better off he will be. Being Bill to Dany's Hillary isn't a bad gig. He can let Jon/Sansa co-rule the north and have the north's full support, which Dany should want.
Cersei had no intention on becoming queen. It has always been very clear she has been a helicopter parent. She thought be removing all of her enemies, she could reign back in Tommen.
Did anyone else say, "How in the hell did Varys make it back there in time?" when they saw him standing behind Dany? I mean obviously we don't know how much time had passed (I guess a while since they were able to hire Xzibit to pimp out all their ships) but it was still a little odd. I'm assuming his presence there means he successfully gathered the support of the Martells and Tyrells?
Yes, that is what it implies. The nit-picking about "travel" really gets old in a show that features wildfire, dragons, zombies, and resurrections. The most impressive/implausible thing is how they train birds to travel 100's of miles to deliver messages to the exact place at the exact time... if they can do that, they can do anything!
Really? "NO" intention? I think she always figured she could rule via Joffrey... and then via Tommen. Once that started to go awry, she then thought she could manipulate the faith militant to help her rule. Once that went south, she had to just eliminate everybody. Sure, she didn't want Tommen to die, but she still had plans to have a big say in his decision making (especially with Margery and the FM out of the way). She is the one who first uttered the words, "you play the game of thrones, you live or you die" or something like that, was she not?
Exactly! People don't listen to me when I mention Westeros Air. Sure, it's something of a no-frills second-world airline, but they're hard up for business, and the frequent flier miles are great. (Just don't eat before you get on the plane.)
The full series is actually called A Song of Ice and Fire. Daenerys has always been known to be the 'Fire'. R+L=J, with Jon uniting the free folk beyond the wall, has been long suspected of being the 'Ice'. This is why anyone who follows the show beyond a week to week basis knew Jon Snow wasn't dead. The Targaryens have always been viewed as the rightful ruling family. The conclusion of the show will likely not be a huge surprise. Daenerys and Jon may die in the end, but you can rest assure it won't end on some god awful ending like Lost. Its the detailed storyline that makes for a great show.
1. I disagree about Ned's willingness to go to war. Robert is pissed and yells to Ned, "I'll have your head on a pike!" As Ned is leaving the small council. Ned tells Jory to get the girls and start packing they're going back to Winterfell immediately. Ned is clearly concerned for the safety of his family at this point. The only reason he stays is because of Liitle Finger. Disobedience to the King is an act of treason. How far is Robert willing to go if Ned actually goes back to Winterfell? Ned clearly doesn't care if it starts a war, he's willing to risk it. This is not really debatable. Yes he went back to being the hand after the conflict with Jamie. But what if Ned does not get wounded by Jamie's men and actually goes back to Winterfell? Is Robert still willing to forgive if Ned had deserted him? Clearly Ned was willing to risk it. 2. I didn't over complicate the theory, the script writers did when Lyanna whispered something into Ned's ear that none of us were privy to. Why did they do that? You can be certain it has some significant meaning. 3. Maybe your right about the gender. I don't recal that type of revil but I'll re watch. And being super obvious is what concerns me. It fills like a diversion from the truth.
Lol it's not a big deal. Clearly some time had passed. But when they first showed him my wife and I both let out a "... the hell is he doing there?" Everything is working out well for Dany now. If there were several seasons left I'd say this is setting her up for some sort of disaster, but since the show is wrapping up I think she's more or less going to steamroll through King's Landing.
