All I want to know is Sam needs that teleportation device that Littlefinger and Varys has. Took him a whole season to go south and these two have been popping up around the globe everywhere. That episode was amazing though. Period.
I think the ship scene occurred much later than the events at King's Landing and Dorne. You can clearly see Dornish and Tyrell sigils on some of the ships. In other words, enough time must have passed for Olenna Tyrell to hear about King's Landing, recieve an invitation from Dorne, travel down there and launch a number of ships across to Mereen. And yes, this episode was epic!
