Dougie is the man. Well on his way to earning himself a QO.... and us a draft pick.

I don't agree on that attempt.

Now, with 2 outs, 2 strikes on the hitter, yes, but not with one one and 2 strikes on the hitter, when you have 2 lefties with power hitting behind you.

Then again, we disagree, but Salvador is a great throwing catcher. Imagine, Gattis is doing great and Salvador is doing even better, those numbers are just incredible that brings you a STOP SIGN, unless the pitcher is easy to run on.

Or unless the stats say your best base-stealer has good numbers against the catcher too...

I don't even know how to deal with this. Constant criticism on minute details with a million caveats..the usual, I suppose. Oh yeah, Valbuena didn't hit that double earlier. Wrong again.

Would love to see Fister get through the 7th without trouble...I'd expect him to be pulled before facing the top of the order again if it comes to that.

But ball 2 should have been a called strike according to the K-zone, so...

yesssss, i was wrong but had a good at bat when he K, and then hit a liner to left field, another very good at bat. Another at bat like that, and the luck will change.

But yes, i was wrong, he did not hit a homer

And, had he been safe you would have praised the move. You've done it before. Gomez has a good game (when he was hitting poorly) and it's "good move by Hinch, starting Gomez".

    It's always after the fact.
