I prefer Worth over Kemp because the 25th guy will not play much, and i prefer to see Kemp playing daily. Now, Kemp did a good job in the major, we can count on him for the future.
I was impressed with Orlando, he looks like a fine player. He hit a single from a great change up that Devenski threw that i have not seen others do.
goodness, our July schedule makes me salivate. thanks astros, for quickly turning this season from pure misery to fun.
I was right, look at me. I'm so smart. I predicted a thing that is unreasonable to predict (Solid game by all, including Reed)
Reed was pretty solid in his debut. Good at working the count and drawing a couple of walks. Made some solid contact and unlucky on line drives.
Yep, the Astros played a brutal schedule though May, now the worm is turning in our favor. A lot of games against .500 or worse teams in July, and after this upcoming Angels series, 22 of the next 31 games are at MMP. A chance to really make some hay and put ourselves in a good spot before the schedule stiffens up again. It isn't as if we've struggled with good teams, aside from the Rangers of course. By my count we are 10-9 against the other top AL teams.
Expected Win/Loss records for AL teams to keep an eye on: Rangers: 41-33 Actual: 47-27 Indians: 44-28 Actual: 42-30 Blue Jays: 42-33 Actual: 40-35 Red Sox: 44-29 Actual: 41-32 Royals: 35-37 Actual: 38-36 Mariners: 42-32 Actual: 37-37
Actually, he hit one out of the ballpark, but foul lol unreasonable? Did you see the game last night? Young was hit hard, 2 homers and doubles
