I think Durant is going to the Knicks, might be the best thing for his career at the moment.

Calvin Watkins is a real insider. Not just some random Rockets hater like Stein and Woj. Durant is on his way.

How are the clips able to afford him? Wouldn't he be their 4th guy > 20 mm?

Where is NostraDummyTheGreat with his 50/50 predictions ?

Anybody with a rational and nonemotional response knows it is nonexistent. If the rockets can't even get a meeting those posters should have "stupid" under heir monikers.

So the Celtics and the Heat get a meeting and have more chances than the Rockets?

The rational response actually is we don't know how it will shake out, unless you hear it from KD's mouth straight up. The most likely scenario is KD kicks the can and signs a 1+1 deal so he can take advantage of the increased cap next year and sign a super mega deal, but until it all shakes out no one but KD knows what is the real deal.

Taking some "insiders" word for factual truth is actually pretty dumb didn't these insiders also say DH would never come to Houston? Assuming KD will sign is dumb but your stance of also assuming KD will never consider the Rox is also pretty dumb as well its all speculation either way at this point.

I almost guarantee you that Durant has no idea what the Rockets will throw at him when he meets with them.

He probably thinks like many other non-rocket fans think that the Rockets have room to just sign him and if so that makes the Rockets situation considerably less attractive.

I agree though, Celtics needed to make that big trade and they didn't.

Any ways, people that have been through these FAs know these reports change every day.

I do not know why he would go to some other team but the Knicks to eradicate the possible Lil b curse at the time.

GTFOH with this "I knew it all along" BS. What's ACTUALLY stupid is being on a rockets fan site and being too cool to let yourself think of the possible reasons why KD might come here. Or even worse, lurking around in a thread about that very subject when you have such strong beliefs against what is being discussed in that thread.

You had no educated knowledge of what KD wanted to do, so you're not bringing anything to the table. Please tell me you had NY on KDs list. Because even with Rose, they're worse than the rockets basketball-wise.

Forget Knicks even Celtics who is gonna be LOTTERY next season and has zero stars to work with apparently is a more preferable destination to KD than Houston according to Los Pallos LOL

Yes, even though woj has well over a decade track record of being reliable, we don't like what he is saying, so that new hack BSPN journalist Watkins must be right.

Woj said Houston might get a meeting, but we are outsiders looking in. It makes sense.

Front office sucks if they keep chasing Durant. He doesn't want to play here.

Look it's ok... Let's not panic. I prefer to be optimistic. In the words of a great philosopher:

"Just because there's a goalie, it doesn't mean you can't score."

Actually he said "it appears" that way. Lots of cushion in that wording. If we're going to throw scruple at Watkins for saying "I'm sure", then it goes both ways.
