Johnson wasn't gonna get any run at Baylor even after losing Dickson and Duvernay. He's a very poor man's version of Boykins. Wish him well though
Of course, you think that I'm hating. Have you ever seen him play? He's a quarterback. He balled out against OK State in the second half. In other games, he took huge hits, coughed up the ball and is somewhat injury prone.

He was listed on the Baylor spring two deep at receiver before the Briles/Baylor scandal. He is a graduate transfer so he shouldn't count against the scholarship total, just the 83 total. I don't think he is a world beater but he was likely to be an important piece for Baylor.
Nobody is losing sleep over him.. He's a good kid. Hope he pans out at WE/TE for you all. He's pretty swoll.
That's probably true, there's just so incredibly much for Baylor to lose sleep over this might not be anywhere near the top of the list.
Yep a lot has gone down so this is more under the radar. I think we have enough weapons. Zamora, Cannon, Hawthorne.. Young receivers in Atkinson, Mims. Running game will be fine with Linwood, Jefferson and T Will. This is a good opportunity for CJ. We don't utilize tight ends much. That was the plan with the stud coming in from Waco 2017 but he opened up his recruiting again.
