K is leaving way too many balls up in the strike zone, and getting hit for it. Line drive out on this inning was an 88 mph fastball up. Now, the single given to Orlando, that is a joke, it was an errror by Worth.
You're not going to see many pitchers nibble the zone in games like this..... its such an unorthodox situation for a starting pitcher to have a big enough lead to where he simply should throw strikes and attack every hitter regardless, which really goes against Keuchel's ump-dependent pin-point location pitching over the last 2 years. But, i'm sure you already knew that...
just KILLING him. this is awful. 2 ER in 5 innings killing (I still think that run last inning will get changed to unearned..because it was)
My friend, this year he is getting hit hard with his fastball, i think the average is .333, but i am sure you already knew that.....
FIP and other peripherals all trending in the right direction... I'm not going to over-exagerrate or cangengrero tonight's performance by any means, given the unique/special circumstances for a guy who's had basically zero run support all season.
First time in 30 years is always a plus. They really do, can hate the team all day, but you can't say much negative about their fans.
Is the whole year, he is getting hit with his fastball, over .333 average after tonight's ball game, why? We are watching it tonight, 88 mph fastball missing high in the strike zone. Hopefully we are going to see improvement, but,
Ash going out on a limb there. Half a second from the 3rd out being caught, "Should be a nice quick inning for Keuchel.."
oh right. felt like there was some serious worry as to whether Keuchel could even get through 6 today. He's through, with 3 (2) ERs and at 84 pitches. Doing just fine given the blowout situation
