Why does anyone give a crap about the uni's anyway? If the Rockets start winning this year, you won't hear much about 'em.
two gripes: the white home jerseys should be changed to silver. the lettering is too small/thin and the numerical font is just awful looking other than that.. pretty slick..
Seeing them on a computer screen and on a player makes a huge difference. At first I thought anything is better than the old jerseys. But taking another look... yeah, they look like something from the WNBA/ something a childrens"hoop it up team would wear"... you know the type, certain kids team up and play random teams to compete among their age group. So (being kids)they get all excited and have their moms iron on some walmart letters on top of their nike pullover jersey. OK maybe its not that bad but these jerseys still don't impress me. I will say their better than the old, and I'm sure by mid season they will grow on all of us. Also, the shorts are too busy. I would prefer plain shorts with just the "R" logo on either side of the legs, not front and center on each leg! "HEAVIN FORBID!"
Well, I liked them a lot better before I saw them on the players. Is it me or does it look like the cut of the uniform doesn't fit anyone right? The numbers are horrible. Too small and that "futuristic" font is ugly as hell. The shiney white looks...childish. I've been a Rocket fan for around 25 years. Les, please sell the team or quit making us look like idiots around the league. Its embarassing.
Stop Bickering People... These Uni's are a huge step up from what we had before. After 8 years with Pajamas your standards should not be this high. Your expecations are too high. You need to let them grow on you. Have you ever heard a song and hated it, then after a couple more times you end up loving it? Give it some time folks! Anyways, once we start winning you will think they are Sweet!
The Jerseys look great!!! The road ones need to say HOUSTON though. Poor Glen Rice, stuck in Utah....maybe they will cut a deal and let him loose so he can go to a contender...New Jersey needs some shooters.
Maybe someone that is complaining that our new jerseys look like WNBA jerseys can be a little more specific. Which WNBA jersey exactley does our jersey look like? I could not find one myself. However I think there are some similarities between the new Cav's jersey and the Comets jersey.
Sad to admit.. but i like the comets jerseys more than the rockets Why didn't we get that person to design the Rockers Uni's toooo??? damn!!
OK YM (young man), once a team comes up with something it is there to stay. Also, if a team goes through the trouble to create it, I would expect them to be top quality. It is personally hard for me to compare these to the ugliest unis in the NBA of all time and say that it was at least an improvement. The bottom line is that these unis have turned the team name into the Rocketeers who are getting ready to join the WNBA.
Man! The more I see these unis the more I like them. They have a hint of "flash" but not enough to be gaudy.

yeah, mooch says he lost 20 lbs. and didn't want to have a bad season like the last one (saying it was his first season he got worse and felt the extra weight was a main reason) you can really see moT's weight loss and mobley/francis look tired. mobley says he is... francis is his usual not impressive interviewee self. amaechi looks really powerful. maybe he can really be the enforcer we need at PF
