It's really one guy's obsession with Rubio haha.

TBH he is a great complementary PG for Bev, but he needs to come at a low cost, i.e. not Pek's contract.

Skillswise isn't Rubio the same exact player he was when he got in the league? People kept saying he can develop his shot but he hasn't...so he's pretty much reached his ceiling. I think the Wolves realized this which is why they are so interested in Kris Dunn, who's ceiling is a way more athletic Rubio that can score.

TrYing to verify but I got nothing right now. I would think if this deal really on the table that some team would have already bitten on it. So I'm having difficulty believing it is true too.

Championship teams come down to good rosters, not turnovers from one player.

If we bought into the system (we meaning Harden) and we had 3 point shooters at the SF and PF position it would work well. We won't do anything though so it doesn't matter.

Wolves just took Kris Dunn - a POINT GUARD. Either way Rubio is on the way out. This could be a great bargain if we play our chips right. Could be had for peanuts.

I'll take Rubio if we get rid of Dekker and Brewer. In other words, I'll take Rubio for nothing of value.

i don't see why Houston would take up 15 mill in their cap room with someone who needs the ball in his hands more than James. I'm pretty sure MDA wants Harden controlling things...

Rubio would get this team in the direction that we need it to go.

Sure, he has his flaws (can't shoot, bad +/-, etc.) but the guy is a facilitator. Exactly what we need. Let him contribute 4-8 apg to Harden, that's more points for our scorer.

Not to mention, Rubio is a top 5 defensive PG in the league.

Give me Rubio + Pekovic (though costly, will be a nice fill-in for a developing front-court) + pick(s) for KJ + Jones + both '16 2nd rounders and maybe a fillet.
