If this really happens, we can expect we go 20-62, we will lose 10points/game average.

Ainge has been posting MCM posts of Butler on IG for the last year. He will be the one who gets him.

    1. Les likes names.

    2. The Rockets would love to acquire a big name player before free agency in the hopes that two stars make it easier to attract a third.

    3. Trading into the first makes the Rockets look active. This is one of their selling points, that they are aggressive about improving the roster.

The problem is that the Rockets really don't have much to offer unless they dangle Capela. They also need to protect their cap, and most draft day chatter about trading up rarely happens, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

In truth, my anticipation over the draft has never been the same since the trade for Battier. Never going go get that hyped again only to have the rug pulled out from under me.

    That's what I was thinking....

I mean I guess I could see it if they wanted veterans and defenders to put alongside Simmons and Okafur. But surely they could do better.....

    Turns out it was crap.

Would have been great for us to lose those contracts!!

Let me slightly back track....if Butler is truly available, then the LAKERS at #2 could be in play ahead of Boston. Especially if Chicago really likes Ingram as a starting over building block.

I guess because expectations have ALWAYS been HIGHEST for Noel.....whereas CC is a coming from a different place.

Having both would've? been a nice "problem"....

Yeah, to me the teams with a chance are Celtics, Lakers and Sixers, they have picks, youngsters...

He traded Chase Budinger for a 1st round pick

He traded Aaron Brooks for a 1st round pick

He traded traded Jordan Hill for a 1 round pick

He traded a very old Shane Battier for a 1st round pick

Don't doubt Daryl Morey's ability to get value for a player

Capella is not better than Noel (at this point in time).

    Sorry, no.

When I first read this, I was wondering why not Okhafor instead of Noel?!?

    Dumb trade

You give up a your best 3pt shooters & defenders just for center who does the same thing as Capela. If the Rockets are gonna do stupid stuff like this then it's not point rooting for them
