The K-zone showed it as a strike. Does look high on the replay though. Edit: I think it looks high on replay because he dropped down on his swing.
The ump did not call a pitch that was even lower by McHugh in the first inning. Still, you don't swing at that ball with a 3 and 0 count, only with 2 strikes.
Went back to look and it was borderline and the same pitch by Colin was called a ball but ya never know.
The umps are so inconsistent this year ya never know what they will call but I agree with 3 balls ya take and with 2 strikes too close to take.
Well, like i said, i did not wanted to see him running and take the bat away from Springer. If Marwin was hitting, i was ok with it, but not with Springer hitting and a lefty on the mound, dumb move.
