I think I'm in the minority, but I'd like this move of getting P. Gasol. I think he's got at least another productive year if not 2. He's up there in age but did avg a double double (17 ppg 11 rpg) last few years with Chicago and he's very clever with the ball. He's a legit 7 foot C with post moves and a good jump shot. And the best part of it all... career 75% FT shooter.
that FT is key.... u cant have a max player not make free throws like Dwight... especially a center.. they go to the line so much u have to convert on that...
As much as I don't want us playing anymore old veterans, I would definitely do this trade. But only straight up, no need for giving up young prospects. Maybe a 2nd.

I LOVE this idea. Gasol is an underrated defender and such a talented offensive player. Give me him over 15-16 Dwight any day.
The sauces are obviously BS but the idea could be real. I mean Morey did have a boner for Gasol awhile back.

Bjelica is an interesting idea, stretch 4 with decent rebounding...he started really really well last season but probably he hit the wall at some point. I wonder how much the Wolves will ask for him, i assume they're ok in letting him go, KAT, Dieng, Garnett, Payne, Pekovic...not sure there're minutes for him with Thibs there...
Yeah he's def worth a look and he's on a quality contract that doesn't break the bank, similar to kjs contract.
