I've got KJ/Harrell as our Marion. Hopefully the can combine to provide the same impact.

I'm hoping Dmo is our Diaw with his knack for passing and nifty post up moves.

I hope everyone is getting a good look at Tristan Thompson (and Ibaka/Adams in the last round) to see how IMPORTANT speed and agility is at the C position in the modern NBA. How important it is for centers to be able to have the footwork to be able to present some modicum of defense on the perimeter on pick and rolls.

Rebounding in the playoffs is so critical.

D'Antoni is a terrible coach so who knows what you'll get (see: Beasley starting), but a reasonably not bad scenario would be:

    Bev/Llull
    Harden/Llull
    Ariza/KJ
    Dudley/D. Arthur
    Capela/DMo

With good health and improvement from the younger guys, they might squeeze out 50 wins. Then again, D'Antoni, so who knows.

But the Rockets shouldn't get into any bidding wars for players that don't really move the needle like Marvin Williams or Luol Deng.

Some good points there especially about not chasing MW or LD but if Dudley is our starting 4 we're a lottery team next year.

Should have brought him in last season. Not too late.

They're going to have a stretch 4. You can start Beasley, break the bank on meh players, or pay meh money for a meh player in Dudley. I choose option C.

All 3 will come off the bench next season, if all 3 are even retained. Still have to earn playing time on this team.

The benefits of a stretch 4 offensively are clear: more speed, better spacing. There are definitely disadvantages defensively defending the rim but there are also advantages if you have someone who has the speed and capability to switch PnR's and rotate quickly at the 4. My fear is the type of lineup that MDA will put out to score points could work defensively but not with just effort it takes alot of drilling and intelligence that they won't have.

That's a terrible lineup. Not looking forward to next season at all.

Worst starting PG in the league who shouldn't be starting for us or any team.
Inconsistent swing man with lots of miles, no handles or ability to create.
I don't think Capela is ready to start full time.
Dudley? Starting? For us? At the 4 spot? Lol

That lineup would be lucky to win 35 games. Harden's gonna get frustrated and leave for nothing after another failure of a season. If we strike out on adding any significant pieces I hope there's a plan in line to trade Harden and fully rebuild.

Dudley would be the best starter not named Harden on that team.

LOL at everybody that doesn't want Dudley. He'll probably get 4/40 this summer.

Because CHRIS Dudley was one of the most entertaining free throw shooters of all time.

Dudley guarding LMA, AD, KD, KAT, etc... I like Dudley but he's not a starting 4 competing for a championship. 4/40... wow. Expected with the salary increase but still can't see Morey giving him that much.

Sign Conley, Batum, Crabbe, Galloway, Speights
    Re-sign D-Mo, Beasley
Ditch Ariza, Bev, Brewer, so forth
    Draft Felder/Maker (hopefully)

    Roll with MDA squad --

    Conley/Galloway/Felder
    Harden/Crabbe
    Batum/McDaniels/Dekker
    D-Mo/Beasley/Harrell/Maker
    Capela/Speights
