The GOP is running away from Trump. It seems like every day another Republican is refusing to endorse, or renouncing their endorsement.

Trump lacks the knowledge that probably at least 60% of the posters on this board have.

I can't believe there's actually talk of the GOP overturning the will of the voter and changing the rules in order to not have Donald Trump be the nominee.

I don't think it will happen, but it's amazing that people are even discussing that. He's could actually be fired before even starting the job as the official nominee.

He is a spectacular loser, but this totally something crazy.

It's too bad they didn't do so when it would have mattered. I would absolutely commend them if they took him out of consideration for the nomination, but I don't see them doing it. Just about anyone would have a better shot at beating Hillary than Trump.

Thousands of supporters and the media only focuses on the few teenage protesters. Typical sleazy media.

Rather than the sleazy candidate? That is probably a plus.

People standing on line being non-controversial do not generate publicity.

Give credit to the Trump supporters. It was hot as a MF out there and they stood in line since 5 PM - around the time I was there- until 7. At least they're actively participating in the political process- even if I disagree with their political stance. And the protestors, from what I saw, weren't yelling at people on line to see Trump, they were simply holding up signs.

I thought Houston acquitted itself quite well considering what has happened in other cities.

True. Only 89% of Latinos and 94% of African Americans have unfavorable opinions of Trump. So clearly it isn't only whites who supports Trump.

It sounds like the posters on the board who post the few examples of Sanders supporters engaging in criminal ways with Trump supporters.

It's crazy when people highlight the actions of a very small minority and use them to represent a whole group of folks.

It would be like some kind of an idiot wanting to ban immigration from all Muslim nations because of the actions of just a very small minority of Muslims.

Luckily you can see through that, and would never fall for that kind of action, right?

It's funny, because I heard a conspiracy theory the other day, that Trump was working in cahoots with Hillary to make sure she wins the presidency. The idea was from the beginning Trump was in to see if he could win, and do whatever he could to appeal only to the hardcore Republican voters so that he could win the primary and would make sure he loses to Hillary in the general.

It would make sense, he has to know he never stood a chance of winning a national election doing his impersonation of a Republican and we know he's long been a Hillary supporter.

Him running this time is doing more to elect Hillary than his money did when he gave it to her the last time she ran.

If Trump were an insurgent trying to expose the absurdity of the 21st century GOP message by saying the unveiled version ...he's doing a great job.

Must be the same strategist that had the CIA start ISIS to bring the Middle East together.

I wasn't in a line. First, I tried to find where the stupid Xfinity building was, then I walked down the sidewalk past the protestors and along the line of people waiting to get in. I only stayed for maybe 5 minutes- just a handful of pictures and then I was out. Too much work to do yesterday to join the protestors (not my thing, anyway, I'd rather contribute to the cause in some other way).

The poster referred to Trump's rhetoric being appealing to 'only' non-whites. Can you demonstrate any truth to his statement?

I think you meant to say appealing 'only' to whites... and honestly, you need someone to substantiate that?
