LMAO... I think the fact that RL used that tweet as a reference speaks for itself. You really dont have to say anything, like Trump, he damages himself in ways no one else can.
Trump has to win <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Update: Dallas Advocate photographer Danny Fulgencio, hit with rock at Trump rally, was treated by medics and is OK <a href="https://t.co/T4VU7y9hlq">pic.twitter.com/T4VU7y9hlq</a></p>— ScottGordonNBC5 (@ScottGordonNBC5) <a href="https://twitter.com/ScottGordonNBC5/status/743645219497730048">June 17, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
A festive atmosphere of prop-centric mockery by Donald Trump protesters became tense amid a heavy police presence Thursday night outside downtown Dallas. One person was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and Danny Fulgencio, a photographer, was bloodied during the ruckus when a rock hit him in the head. “I didn’t see the rock, but I felt it,” Fulgencio said. He didn’t know who threw the rock or where it came from, but he said he didn’t think it was intended for him. He received bandages on his forehead. “It bled like hell,” Fulgencio said. “Then it was okay.” http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/2016/06/trumps-dallas-rally-draws-crowds-from-all-sides.html/
[Premium Post] You raise a good point. If the media pushes Trump too hard, then the Republicans could change the rules at the convention and actually nominate an electable candidate. Seems to me that the liberal media should be encouraging the Trump candidacy if they want to see Hillary elected.
Despite the worried claims of Trump fans and other conservatives, I really don't believe the media is "pushing" for a Trump departure from the race. The media exists to sell news, and Trump's campaign, and all the crazy things he says and does sells news. While any change in nominee would be a big news item, any "electable" replacement candidate would not be as interesting to report on. At the same time, the media has to report on what Trump says and does.
You do that and you alienate and piss off the uneducated, violent people that will only support Trump. You'd have riots outside your convention and even if you used blood magic to resurrect Ronald Reagan you'd still lose.
I don't think Hillary getting beat is even an issue, there is not any candidate the GOP could muster that would come closer than Trump. We libbies would like to see a fatal splintering of the party though and end to the Southern Strategy where fiscal conservatives support social regressives. It's an odd set of bedfellows anyway with "small government" types having to help legislate social behaviors; Constitutionalist supporting religious tenets. I could have some respect for real governmental conservatives.
Trump doesn't have respect of most government officials nor the military. He's being voted in by ignorant unsophisticated redneck bastards. Going to be interesting if he does become president somehow. How long will it take for him to be impeached?
Trump doesn't want the respect of government officials. He's gonna make America Great Again. Government officials made it not great, okay? But after he gets elected, it's gonna be awesome. He promised it would be. Trump is a once-in-a-lifetime cynical vote of no confidence.
[Educational Post] Obama's approval rating from the military -- especially officers -- is rock bottom. But what do you expect when Obama prioritizes his political agenda over the mission over and over again? ISIS took root under Obama's watch after our complete failure in Syria and Libya and also the premature evacuation in Iraq. The military will overwhelmingly support Trump.
Obama is not running for President and this thread is about Trump. Trump, as usual, isn't helping himself. http://www.militarytimes.com/story/...06/15/trump-iraq-funds-troops-stole/85925010/
I know personally, and have met enough people that are/were in the military that support Obama over McCain/Romney. But you are right the military overall has an unfavorable view of Obama. The fact is though the military (again) overall tend to be from poorer, less educated backgrounds. I would think on average the lower the I.Q. of someone in the military the higher % that person would have an unfavorable view of Obama. So yeah
