Yeah I saw the reply finally. I guess by the rules it was a red card. Jones is a hothead so I guess this isn't totally unexpected. Ugh.. No Bobby Wood as well for the next game. That's really going to hurt.
He wasn't going to get the yellow on the foul. I think it was the reaction that got it and that makes it even more incredibly stupid.
I guess we get Yedlin back but losing Jones doesn't help. And more importantly Wood was doing so much up front and losing him really blows. I'm not sure how our offense will function. Maybe they'll go old school US and just play defense and pray for a counter.
Watching the replay of the 2nd goal. If you haven't played at a higher level, you have no idea how difficult that 1st touch Dempsey made was. Most would've tried to hit it on the 1st touch but to put it down like he did, maintain control with a man on his back and to get it across the goal like that was just awesome.
