That may have been the luckiest catch I've ever seen.

 

I thought Springer never does anything with games on the line, or in the late innings...

 

I usually want to throw something when Gomez makes a mistake on the base paths, but that's about as good of a move to first you'll see with the quickness and location of the throw.

 

There's literally no reason it shouldn't be.

 

You would think. Was wondering why they were warming up Feliz and Giles. Feliz for the winning/tied scenario, Giles for the losing scenario?

Sidenote, never heard "double-barreled action" describing 2 righties before. But maybe it's just rare to have 2 righties up at the same time

Cardinals have trouble with high-speed fastballs... so I would imagine either would be effective.

Giles pitches a lot... and while he's been great lately, I'd like Feliz to maintain his good rhythm too.
