He's full of ****. He says that saying "radical islam" wont defeat ISIS. So if words don't matter then why are you going out of your way to purposely not say "radical islam". We're at war with radical islam and we have president who refuse to say it. Did his own censorship prevent any attacks? We have a political correct president and political correctness will be the death of us all.

He said in that video that they are literally killing them. Why would it matter if you are grouping the entire religion with something that is extreme? As long as you are calling them terrorists (which they most surely are) why do you have to do that? That one exact phrase is going to do something? Him treating Muslims in this country and in the rest of the world with respect is going to be the death of us all? I'm really trying to wrap my head around those ideas. I just don't get where you are coming from. Perhaps Obama has addressed this, and I haven't seen it or have forgotten. But I would say that he needs to state clearly that Muslim leaders need to reign in their fanatical followers. I'm pretty sure quite a few have already though that I have read over the last several years.
Obama himself has said "terrible deeds was committed in the name of Christ". This was in reference to crusade. Some say the Crusade was a defensive war but regardless for him to bring this up just shows where his heart is.
This is stupid words do matter but not in the way Trump is saying they do. Calling them Radical Islam does not help to fight terrorism. Its not an either or thing.
Obama showed that Trump would be a terrible president. He thinks name calling will solve terrorism. Why wouldn't he think that way that's how he got the nomination? right? IMO The Republican party created this monster and are getting exactly what they deserve. Blaming 1 billion people for the evil deeds of 40,000 because they share the same religion is dumb.
Obama claims Trump's rhetoric will further radicalize Muslims. Are there any evidence of that? Obama is suggesting, calling radical Islam for what it is will cause muslims to become a terrorist? That's not what he's saying. He's saying that a high-profile American politician who is running for a POTUS and openly insulting Islam and generally acting like all Muslims are our enemy has the effect of alienating and radicalizing young people in that demographic. This is not a wild theory he's pulling out of thin air. There are plenty of analysts out there who agree -- a key part of our strategy should be winning the hearts and minds of the youth in those communities rather than pushing them away. Some of their religious leaders are telling them that the West is their enemy. Trump's rhetoric, aka "Muslims no longer welcome" and "gotta take out their families", reinforces that sentiment.
